Obtain & Deploy Cisco Inc. AnyConnect VPN is a simple operation if you follow the directions below.
Requirements
Before you start, confirm the listed items:
- Operating system compatibility: Windows 10/11, Apple macOS, or Ubuntu/CentOS.
- Administrator rights on the machine.

Download procedure
1. Open a browser such as Chrome, FF, or Microsoft Edge.
2. Go to the official Cisco site or your company intranet.
3. Locate the AnyConnect VPN bundle for your OS.
4. Click the get link and save the file.
Verify the download
Following the file download, confirm the file:

Install on Windows
1. Right-click the setup file and choose Open with admin rights.

sudo ./vpn_install.sh
3. Follow the console messages to finalize the installation.
Connect to a VPN
1. Launch the AnyConnect.
2. Enter the VPN server address.
3. Provide your login details and any MFA token.
4. Click Establish connection and check the connection status.
Troubleshooting
If you run into problems:
- Verify network connection.
- Power cycle the client.
- Remove and reinstall the software.
